I have done three rides called Three Unions and a Windsor in the last two years. The distances were: 43.9, 60.4, and 53.2 miles. They are all variations on a theme. Riding around Carrol County on the rolling hills. Today’s ride was 43.9 miles and had 2644 ft of climbing without a single major hill. Just lots of smaller ones.
It was a very nice ride. The weather was a bit overcast which kept things cooler than they might have been. We had a big crowd for us, nineteen people including two on the tandem. I averaged 15.1 mph which looks pretty good considering the hills.
